You will need 2 "1 by 3s" and a "1 by 4" for the base and shelves. The supports are "1 by 2s". This base can be used in many ways. You can place it on the floor, on a mantlepiece or on a shelf, to name a few options. There are virtually countless ways that you can use this simple base.
