About Karnataka college
This place was founded by Karnataka Education Trust by Prof. Basavaraj in 2003. It is a multi disciplinary college with arts, engineering and management. It houses students from 25 nations such as Congo , Egypt , Iran , Tanzania, Yemen, and many more.
It has a very simple application process namely, Application, Connect You get ready.
• Application- It is not a difficult process. Just one needs to fill in application and what course he/she wants. This only takes 10 mins to complete
• Connect – The representative will contact you and will help you to finish the process. This may involve interviews , fees payment or even document submission for international students.
• You get ready – For selected candidates , the offer letter will be given. The program can start based on pupil’s preference.
About BA journalism
This is a 3 year program and many candidates join every year. It emphasizes on media and entertainment industry . The student must have obtained a pass of the total marks in Class 12 or PUC to be eligible for admissions. After admission the students can avail scholarship if they are financially disadvantaged. Furthermore , we have options ie, loans EMI for everyone.
Programme structure
Some of the major subjects that are taught during the course includes Functional English, Communicative English, Fundamentals of Computer, Newspaper management and Creative Journalistic Writing.
Functional English
As we know English is most widely spoken language in India by our younger segments. As we see the functional English helps you communicate with everyone in corporate world. Also for academic purposes like publishing a page, writing exam, essays and debates we needed English. Hence this subject is in BA journalism.
Newspaper management
Thanks to modern technology the newspaper printing has evolved in a long way. There is a need to manage effectively so that the content gets published to readers on time. The work is done based on objective, specialisation, unity of command, order giving to subordinates. Hence it prepares manager to work in backend for newspaper department.
Fundamentals of computer
In this course , one can receive hands - on and practical learning about computer. By this course one can work on word, excel and other Microsoft application used for the purpose.

Reporter: He/she is responsible to gather and write reports pertaining to the various happenings and events in the whole nation, sometimes across the globe.
Photojournalist: He/she is responsible for taking photographs and write his/her article on the basis of the taken photographs.
Editor: They will be keen on editing the contents created by the reporters and writers pertaining to the various happenings and events around us.
Journalist: He/she is responsible for investigating and creating meaningful news from the happenings and events.
Salaries are ranging from 3to 5 LPA for entry level. And yes one can get jobs in Publishing House, Broadcasting Corporations, News Agencies, Newspapers, E-Magazines and Websites, Advertising Agencies, Press Information Bureau.
